Technorati: Linked

As if I knew what Technorati was. But I’m on it. How do I capitalize on it?

Also, it bugs me that Blogger doesn’t enable tags for entries. Thanks, Google! As corporate owner, you are exercising your philosophy that searching is always better than organizing. Means I’ve always got to know what I’m looking for—which I don’t, and which is why I like PBS.

    To up your ranking, other bloggers have to link to your blog. The more blogs and more posts linked, the higher your ranking gets.

    To up your ranking, I suggest making contact with other bloggers. One way to find like-minded folk is to click on the topics you listed on your Technorati profile and email them or post comments on their blogs with links to yours.

    Treehugger, for example is a huge environmental blog and you can email them tips about “green products” here: http://www.treehugger.com/files/2005/06/please_send_us.php

    You could also try your hand at writing articles and supplying photography for indybay.org.
