As train movies go, this was a lot more interesting than Darjeeling Ltd.

Good to hear from you, Will. Haven’t seen Darjeeling Ltd, though I’ve enjoyed others of Wes Anderson’s movies, mostly.
Anderson lost me about halfway through The Life Aquatic, and I haven’t recalibrated myself to his later work. I do feel a kind of instinctive urge to see the Darjeeling Ltd, though less for a satisfying story than for the occasional glimmers of visual pleasure his movies bestow, comparable to what one feels while walking through a museum: You won’t like every piece, but once in a while you find a painting that thrills you.
If you took out the spaces between those images that make up his movies, you’d have a very nice picture book.

Really? No kidding. Well, I'm not. And there hasn't been an update to IE for the Mac in some time. So if anything looks weird on this site, let me know.
In the meantime, consider a different browser. Please.
